There Was Something Different In Warsaw
Warsaw, though it was only the second time I had traveled there to meet you, felt different. It was like coming home—not to a place, but to a person. You felt so familiar and so right; we seemed to fit together. All the stress and longing that had built up between us just melted away when I held you again. Holding you feels right, familiar, and it feels like home.
The trip to Warsaw was necessary for you; you had to get your visa for the Netherlands, moving for a new job that you didn’t really want. It must have been hard. I’ll never know what you went through, but I know what I saw. I saw a woman making the hard choices she had to make and doing what was necessary, sacrificing something important. I can only hope that I was some comfort during this journey.
For me, the trip was an opportunity to spend time with you and learn more about myself and what you truly bring out in me. You bring out the best in me. What I learned on this trip was that I definitely want to marry you. I know you are my home, and no matter where we are or where we live, as long as you are there, I’m home. When I got back, I started looking for engagement rings.

Moving to Amsterdam
I know moving was hard and emotional. It was truly a challenge, but for me, it marked a significant step forward in our relationship. Not only did you move closer to me, but it also made things easier for both of us to build a future together. My first visit was incredible, starting from the moment you met me at the airport. That first hug was amazing; all the stress and anxiety that had built up just melted away as I held you in my arms. I felt like I was home again.
I got to help you by fitting lights, building furniture, and handling deliveries. I was able to be a useful partner, and I loved every second of it. I settled in with you, and it felt like home, like this was our place. I know it's your place for now, but I hope to be moving in soon.
In Amsterdam, we celebrated our first anniversary, and it was so important to me. While it wasn't exactly how I pictured it, it was amazing, and I wouldn't change a thing about it! I got to be with you, to hold you, and to kiss you, and I loved every moment. I also got to share your birthday, which was special for me because I know how tough the year had been. From arriving in Amsterdam, I got to be a true boyfriend to you, loving you in the ways I had always wanted to. I know you thought I bought you too much stuff, but it was our first anniversary and your first birthday together. How could I not spoil you?
One of my favorite things was shopping with you, holding your hand, and just enjoying the experience. It felt simple, like something we had always done. But soon, I had to leave for Scotland, and that was tough.
